Family portraits are all about capturing the relationship and specific unique bonds between members. A family portrait is special and will never be undervalued as it chronicles the family as a group at a moment in time in the family’s history.
Your photograph can be taken either in our spacious and air conditioned high street studio or on location. Dorset has many unique landscapes and seascapes to us as a backdrop for truly stunning images to be created.

You can select a session that appeals to you from one set out below. If you can't decide yourself, then why not have someone purchase you a gift voucher and then you can decide once you've seen all your images?
Families
We take family pictures in a relaxed, informal and contemporary style.
We like to provide our clients with as wide a range of designed images as possible to select from. At each session we will take several images of each member of the family as well as numerous poses of the complete family. Once all the images have been shot then we will look for the images that best reflect the true personality of both the individuals as well as the complete family.
A variety of different designer images will be created for the viewing session. Each design will be presented in Colour, Sepia, Black & White and a variety of alternative looks to allow each family the choice of presentation styles. Beside designer images, families can select individual images as well.
Once we have selected the best images and created the designs, then we'll present these to our client at a viewing session. The images are shown on a large screen by projector to allow the images to be seen clearly and with the best impact. The viewing session takes place in our air conditioned viewing room and last normally for about one hour. At the end you will have helped create your choice of portrait from the various options presented.
Your family portrait will become a treasured possession and remain an important part of your family's life.
Children
We love shooting children as they're so much fun! We only have them in front of the camera for a short time so only normally see their best sides.
We like to take individual portraits of each child in a variety of different clothes as well as many poses of them with their brothers & sisters. We then use our creative skills to combine all these images into what we consider is a definitive statement of your children or child.
Some younger children love to dress up, some are interested in music or sport. We like it when children bring in props that help them relax and also that we can use within their portrait. We've had bikes, guitars, skateboards, drum kits, ballet dresses.... the list goes on!
You want a different portrait and we like to make it happen. Challenge us with an idea for your next portrait of your child.
Babies
Babies are great fun to photograph and our photographers take portraits of hundreds each week. We feel confident that we've seen every type of baby and can produce really great images.
At the studio we run a Baby & Toddler Portrait Club that allows parents an opportunity to have regular pictures taken of their baby in these very important early years of their life. You can also visit the studio and have a one off session to record special baby events such as Christenings, crawling for the first time, standing & walking or just a first family portrait.
Urban Teenager
Teenagers love to show off their individuality and personality in many ways. Fashion and image play a great part in their lives. We want to work with them to create a definitive portrait that even they will be pleased to let their parents purchase!
Why put up with the 'traditional' school portrait of your young adult when you don't have to anymore?

Couples
Are you looking for a really contemporary image of you and your partner?
How often have you thought about creating a casual and relaxed image for display in your home? You can have pictures made in our studio, on location around Bournemouth & Poole, on the beach, in the countryside or at a favourite location of your own. The picture could be one where you're doing something together, sailing , walking, cycling or sport. - You choose. The picture will then make a very strong statement about your life together.
Models
Everyone would like to live the life of a model!
The idea of travelling to exotic places and being paid a fortune for having fun is everyone's dream.
In order to see whether you're going to be the next great model, agencies like to see pictures taken in a variety of different styles and looks. There is no need to go to London studios to have these taken as they can easily be taken in our Broadstone studio.
