Makeover birthday party shoots are becoming more and more popular with teenagers. Over the past few years the age that girls have a makeover party in our Broadstone studio has got younger and younger! We see more 13 and 14 year olds have one of these sessions. Both Ellie and Beth’s mums came well prepared for this shoot as well as bringing in the girls and 4 of their friends, they also brought in cakes, pizza, snacks and plenty of pop!

Wendy from Sapphire styling, did their hair and makeup and then it was time to get the girls into the studio. The session went really well and the girls looked happy and at the end were directing me as to different poses! Here are some of their images.

Mark had one of our Headshot portrait sessions as he wanted to promote his business as a professional saxophonist. The images are taken by Fraser Portrait photograhers in our Broadstone studio here in Dorset. Mark chose 11 different images to use as he wished on his high res CD. Mark wanted some special marketing styled portraits for both his new website and marketing info. Mark works in both the wedding and entertainment market and is always being asked for information. He needed certain styles for his wedding market to cater for both the ‘formal’ wedding as well as the not so formal. At the same time for entertainment agencies he needs to show images of himself and his kit. We took quite a few images during a 2 hour shoot and hopefully when his website is live I can post a link here for anyone wanting a different sound at their wedding etc. The sound of a Sax is fantastic!

What a challenge recently…2 Siberian Huskies, one Alaskan Malamute and an English staffordshire Bull terrier! They were great and so well trained. I took some ‘regular’ studio images but I kept thinking how could I create an environmental image of them in the studio… what do you think?

Lucy came over from the states with her Mum to visit family in Broadstone. They decided to get a picture taken of all the children for the kid’s Gran. Millie and Jake joined Lucy on a cold afternoon recently on Sandbanks beach to create an image that Gran will be really pleased with… a picture of her Grandchildren together.

We had 8 sessions arranged for Saturday 21st April and already 3 have gone! In order to book one of these shoots you’ll need to move fast.
